My name is Ashley and I’ve been with NFWC for 10 years now this Spring. I enjoy handwritten shelf talkers, speaking French, building epic in-store displays and a great bottle of red Burg.
My interest and passion for wine started early. At 16, I studied abroad and lived for a year with a French host family in the countryside of Chatellerault, which was in the Poitou-Charentes region. I came back to the US at 17 and quickly realized my passion for wine and adventure would have to be on hold for some years. Fast forward to college up at UMD for International Relations and French where I embarked on a study abroad program to Morocco for 6 months to learn Arabic and International business at the Universite de Meknes. From our apartment building in the center of the city you could see in the distance the vineyards of Domaine de Sahari Meknes which now 15 years later, I have the pleasure of getting to sell in Minnesota! After graduation and serving with Americorps, I was hired to Johnson Brothers Gallo Division and worked there until leaving to join the dynamic team at New France in 2014. In addition to chasing after my 2 little boys I enjoy coaching lacrosse, cooking and fishing the Saint Croix River!
