Yola Mezcal, founded by Yola Jimenez, is moving into its 15 year of production and was founded in remembrance of her grandfather's passion for making and enjoying Mezcal. Wanting to highlight the importance of women in the production of Mezcal that often gets over shadowed, Yola partnered with one of the daughters of a local agave farmer in Oaxaca to start this brand. Some of the main goals at Yola include empowering women to fill the important decision making positions within the company which have been long dominated by men and also providing livable wages and child care for employees. Yola is also committed to sustainability by sourcing organic locally cultivated Agave Pinas, creating a zero waste mezcalria in Oaxaca, use of solar power and rainwater catchment systems, and support of local reforestation programs.

Mijenta
Maestra Tequilera, Ana Maria Romero, one of the most respected and awarded tequila authorities in Mexico, chooses quality over speed, and perfected Mijenta’s distinctive flavor profile through a meticulous slow process and traditional methods. This ranges from the selection of the silky mature agaves from the best plots, to rich fermentation of slow cooked agaves, and delicate distillation in pot stills without any additives In addition to producing high quality tequilas, Mijenta also prides itself as being the first tequila to receive B-Corp certification which requires a measure of the company's impact across categories including corporate governance, the environment, community, and employee welfare.
