New France was founded in 1993 to connect Minnesota with the great wines and wineries of the world. Since that time, we have evolved to represent a greater range of products with the addition of spirits, sake, and non-alcoholic selections. We are a licensed importer and wholesaler who sells to licensed retail and restaurant partners in the state of Minnesota. 

Do we only sell French Wine? We get that question a lot. We carry wines and spirits from all over the world, not just from France. The products we carry are from small, passionate producers who make unique, environmentally sustainable products that express a sense of place and maintain a standard of excellence. As we like to say, “It’s not all new, it’s not all France, and it’s not all wine.” Our name was derived from our geographical location being part of New France, prior to becoming the Minnesota territory of the fledgling United States.
